The Children's Ball is metro Atlanta's night for children, built by the families of the East Suburban Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Ten years in, it is still the most joyful room in the city.
This is not a gala where children are an afterthought. It is their night. Dressed up, on the dance floor, photographed, celebrated, and shown what it looks like when a community invests in them.
This year the theme is Masters of Imagination, a Met Gala inspired event. Think red carpet, think couture, think a nine-year-old in a look they designed themselves. Costumes and creativity are the whole point.
And it lands on Halloween night. Red carpet instead of door to door, a ballroom instead of a dark sidewalk, and every child in the room treated like the main event.
Here is the part parents tell us about afterward. For four hours, you are not working. You are not walking a dark street counting heads or rationing candy or negotiating one more house. Your children are safe in one room, completely absorbed in being the center of attention, and you are sitting at a table with people you like. That is the trade. It is a good one.
In 2025 the room held over 350 guests. For the tenth anniversary we are building for 400.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has spent more than 85 years developing children into leaders through community service, legislative advocacy, and cultural enrichment. The Children's Ball is how our chapter carries that work forward, and it is the best party on the calendar.
Four hours, one ballroom, and a guest list built entirely around children. Here is what you are walking into.
A red carpet at the door. A dance floor that never empties. Photographers who are there for them. Every child in that room is looked at the way children deserve to be looked at, by adults who came out on a Saturday night to do exactly that.
No sidewalks, no flashlights, no headcount every thirty seconds. Sit at your table, eat a meal you did not cook, and watch your child have the time of their life from across the room. For once, Halloween is not a job.
One room. One guest list. Every face accounted for. Instead of knocking on strangers' doors in the dark, your children celebrate in a hotel ballroom dressed as whatever they dreamed up. Home by bedtime, and still talking about it in November.
Seats are $130 and reserved tables of ten are $1,300. Last year the room held over 350 guests. This year there are 400 seats, and that is the whole room for the whole night. When they are gone, they are gone.
Every guest needs a seat, children included. Tables of ten are sold as a single purchase and seated together, and families often split one across two or three households. A ticketing platform fee applies at checkout.

A note on tax deductibility. Sponsorships are structured as event sponsorships with marketing and visibility benefits, not tax-deductible charitable gifts, because the East Suburban Atlanta Chapter is not a 501(c)(3). Sponsors seeking a deduction can contribute directly to the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, separate from this fee.
Proceeds from the tenth anniversary Ball are distributed to the Jack and Jill of America Foundation and to local nonprofits serving children in metro Atlanta. In 2025 that meant Phoenix Pass and Generate Tech alongside the Foundation.
October 31 falls on a Saturday this year, and the Ball has it. Instead of door to door in the dark, your children get a red carpet, a ballroom, a DJ, and four hours built entirely around them. You get a seat, a meal, and the rare Halloween where the hardest thing you do all night is take pictures.
